A Disclaimer in this case is a statement or anything that is prohibited and it includes potentially dangerous things that can pose a hazard. It also includes limits in terms of the quantity of a particular item and the types of items that Ecuador has decided as acceptable for personal importation.
The airlines prohibit items that are potentially combustible, things that can blow up during transport in the compressed environment of the cargo plane. Customs in Ecuador has restrictions on types of items, like narcotics, alcoholic beverages and firearms, etc. There are limits on the quantity of items, for example, you are only permitted to bring in one cell phone per year per person (per name), or 40 cigars at a time. Items in large quantities that would potentially be interpreted as 'for resale' are prohibited.
Aside from items that are prohibited by the airlines and by Customs in Ecuador, you are free to order what you want!
